Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory SCM Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. in Cordoba, Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Factory SCM in various daily tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with the Planning & Fulfillment team to manage ERP data, including supplier contact details, allocation plans, prices, lead times, MOQs, Incoterms, and payment terms.
  • Monitor and control material prices and Terms & Conditions throughout the value chain, from tender to invoice.
  • Identify and investigate gaps between tender and actual costs, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Support tender material costing and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
  • Act promptly on assigned issues and escalate according to the escalation matrix.
  • Conduct analysis and reporting tasks to support SCM activities.
  • Lead and/or support supplier qualification processes and performance evaluations.
  • Work on improving supplier performance measurement and improvement tasks.
  • Support claim management to maximize compensation to Hitachi Energy.
  • Collaborate with Factory SCM on material cost cutting and risk mitigation projects.
Requirements
  • Experience in SCM in a similar sector or related industrial field.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Residency in Cordoba or Andalusia area.
  • Proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
