Job Overview

The Vice President of Technical Search Engine Optimization will oversee the implementation of SEO strategies across a diverse portfolio of buyer brands, incorporating various content and media formats, as well as a global network of domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute technical SEO initiatives aimed at enhancing traffic to buyer websites through on-page optimization techniques, including title and meta-tagging, indexing, keyword ranking, and overall site architecture, as well as off-page strategies such as link building and backlink profile management to enhance visibility and establish trust and authority for our content.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and implement technical SEO enhancements.
  • Analyze site performance metrics and tracking data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable solutions to boost search engine rankings.
  • Investigate and assess emerging traffic trends and new optimization opportunities, evaluating search outcomes related to websites or marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct effectiveness analyses for programs and leverage findings to enhance market site performance and optimize all initiatives.
  • Formulate an SEO testing strategy, including the evaluation of SEO testing tools and their integration with traditional A/B testing methodologies.
  • Lead a globally distributed team, primarily located in various regions, focusing on hiring and nurturing top talent while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, with a proven track record in technical SEO and data-driven strategy development.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, BrightEdge, DeepCrawl, and Majestic.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in International SEO.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, with a collaborative approach to driving solutions with technical teams.
  • Extensive background in strategy formulation, business planning, and execution.
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise value propositions and core messages to enhance revenue and market visibility.
  • Comprehensive understanding of competitive landscapes and the ability to develop and maintain marketing strategies targeting specific markets.
  • Expertise in creating and executing strategic communication plans for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities; ability to articulate a clear vision and implement effective operational strategies.
  • Proven ability to conduct quantitative business analysis and develop clear strategic initiatives.
