About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Risk Governance Expert to join our team at Swiss Re. As a Senior IT Risk Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of first-line digital & technology operations risk and control activities within the reinsurance domains.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the implementation of the digital risk framework as the trusted digital risk partner for the reinsurance industry.
  2. Ensure IT threats and risks are understood, issues are handled timely, and IT controls are designed and operating effectively.
  3. Embed controls into operational procedures by collaborating with our digital & technology teams to automate, measure performance, and continuously improve our risk position.
  4. Build operational transparency with continuous monitoring and assessment of controls to meet our risk appetite and drive corrective actions where needed.
  5. Contribute to the development of a strong risk culture within the organization.
Requirements
  1. 5 years of working experience in IT governance, IT audit, or operational risk management.
  2. General understanding of Risk Management Frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 31000 or COSO ERM.
  3. Ability to maintain a strong collaborative network within the business domains.
  4. The ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of stakeholders from senior managers to IT development teams.
  5. A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure.
  6. Passion, drive and a belief in the value of digital risk management as an enabler of business performance.
  7. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
  1. CISA, CGEIT, CRISC or similar qualifications would be an advantage.
  2. Industry knowledge of insurance, reinsurance, and modern technology solutions.
  3. Knowledge of DevSecOps is welcome.
  4. Strong knowledge of access management controls and tools.
