Job Description
We are seeking a Value Improvement Engineer to support our project leaders, engineering, and construction teams. The successful candidate will:
- Provide support in identifying and implementing cost reduction alternatives.
- Benchmark design against historical performance, industry norms, and client standards to provide alternative designs that meet customer requirements.
- Facilitate value workshops and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Manage communications or workshops with clients as required.
- Prepare multi-discipline conceptual and definitive cost reduction proposals for capital projects with assistance from project technical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
The Value Improvement Engineer will be responsible for:
- Supporting project leaders in cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Developing and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in cost engineering, project management, or a related field.
