Role Overview

As a KYC Analyst Merchant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless onboarding experiences for our valued customers. You'll collaborate closely with FinCrime, Compliance, and Operations teams to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory adherence while delivering exceptional UX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure comprehensive capture of client documentation and facilitate timely onboarding for merchant customers.
  • Analyze and assess profiles to verify identities, identify potential red flags, and escalate cases to the FinCrime team for further review.
  • Provide top-notch customer support via email, ensuring a smooth onboarding and verification process.
  • Perform regular reviews to maintain up-to-date records and compliance.
  • Utilize screening databases to screen customers using PEP databases and adverse media sources to identify potential risks.
  • Challenge processes to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience: 1-2 years in a similar role, preferably in a startup or financial sector.
  • Legal framework knowledge: Good understanding of relevant AML/KYC legal frameworks.
  • AML/AFC qualification: Qualification from ACAMS, ICA, or a similar industry body is a plus.
  • Language proficiency: Professional proficiency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of French and Italian being a strong plus.
