Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Engineer to join our Technology Development organization in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating control improvements to feed our products and contribute to their competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement control improvements for wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate control strategies.
- Work closely with loads, aerodynamics, and other disciplines to provide a comprehensive understanding of technical aspects.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports and presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying knowledge to improve control systems.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Wind Energy Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with MATLAB/Simulink in simulation and control development/adjustment.
- Knowledge of LaTeX and experience with sensors, actuators, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Experience with controller tuning, optimization, and validation in the wind industry.
- Strong language skills in English (written and spoken) for effective communication.
