Key Responsibilities- Determine regional market needs and opportunities, and influence global strategy as an expert partner.
- Develop localized EMEA strategies and marketing programs to support portfolio growth.
- Lead and develop a team of Regional Market Developers to deliver on growth and revenue objectives.
- Establish and drive a culture of partnership, teamwork, and positivity to deliver rapid wins in a dynamic market.
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential and aid them in progressing in their careers at Thermo Fisher.
- Manage regular marketing performance reporting to regional and global partners.
- Set a regional strategy with the RMDs to define, plan, and implement product launches, price actions, upgrades, and obsolescence of existing products.
- Advocate for customer-focused marketing activities, working across matrix structures, and enabling cross-BU and cross-division marketing campaigns and activities.
- Develop and implement customer and market research programs.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and competitive activity relevant to the product lines and markets served/targeted.
- Oversee OpEx forecasting and hold overall responsibility for the budget.
- Work closely with commercial teams and platforms teams to deliver regional revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in marketing roles, preferably in the life sciences industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and effectively prioritize tasks to manage a high workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in people leadership will be considered advantageous.
