About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Reservations Agent to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, advising them on the best options for their needs, and supporting them with any issues they may have.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Revenue Management in analyzing market trends, pricing strategies, and future market needs.
- Execute market-wide strategies and promotions to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure reservation accuracy and maintain rate parity across all distribution channels.
- Handle guest room reservations, changes, and cancellations in accordance with established guidelines.
- Identify and address potential revenue leaks, including no-shows and non-guaranteed reservations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Credit, Sales, Concierge, and Front Desk, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Proactively communicate system issues or reservation challenges to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Train and develop other team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in revenue management or reservations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make effective decisions.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow with our company.
