Reservations Agent Trainee Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Reservations Agent Trainee to join our team at Six Senses Ibiza. As a Reservations Agent Trainee, you will be responsible for handling reservations, managing room allocations, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Run daily reports for the Reservation department, operational departments, and Sales & Marketing
* Process new reservations, update and clean up reservations, process advance deposits, and answer reservations inbox emails within 24 hours
* Assist in all allocation of rooms
* Check and handle special requests and hard blocking rooms as needed
* Contact guests or travel agents to clarify any discrepancies in preferences or requests before guests' arrival
* Track future room availabilities based on reservations
* Monitor and update the internet reservation system in coordination with respected hosts
* Assist in determining room rates based on the selling tactics of the resort
* Assist in the management of the guest history and profile system
* Ensure all reservations daily are completed with all necessary guest information, profile information, and rate/market/source codes with accuracy and efficiency

**Requirements**

* Technical skills: MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Familiarity with hotel systems, including PMS, GDS, and CRS platforms
* Knowledge of hotel/resort policies regarding reservations, discounts, MICE platforms, and detailed procedures in handling local and overseas room bookings
* Excellent organizational skills, with an intuitive sense of product and service quality
* Passion for excellence and understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer
* Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment positively
* Excellent command of written and spoken Spanish and English
* Thorough understanding of Six Senses guidelines, rules, and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities, and services
