Job Title: Procurement Buyer for Renewables Construction Area

At EDP Renewables Europe, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchases of various categories, including CAPEX services, engineering services, civil and electrical works, wind and solar equipment, and other technical services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead whole RFP processes, including preparation of commercial specifications, centralizing communication with stakeholders, leading negotiations, performing commercial assessments, awarding, and reporting.
  • Lead Contract & Commercial Negotiations, driving appropriate commercial relationships with suppliers and ensuring a competitive process according to company procedures.
  • Monitor market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Strong cooperation with other departments (Engineering, Construction, EHS, etc.) to achieve the best results aligned with the company strategy.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical purchases of civil and electrical works and/or investment projects and/or wind and solar BOP-BOS.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ability to manage databases.
  • Familiar with contractual negotiation and preparation processes.
  • General knowledge of Supply Chain concepts.
  • English High Level (Oral and Writing). Spanish will be valued. Additional languages will be valued.
