Main Responsibilities:- Procurement Contract Management: Manage purchasing activities for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures and ERP systems.
- Sourcing and Contracting: Manage all sourcing activities for assigned renewable projects, including drafting and developing procurement contracts in collaboration with the Legal department.
- Contract Administration: Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and contractors, ensuring smooth deliveries and communication.
- Commercial Contract Management: Deliver ongoing commercial contract management post-contract award, including claims, variation orders, amendments, defects, notice to correct, and LDs.
- Supplier Performance Management: Drive and manage supplier performance under live contracts, overseeing KPIs, supporting resolution of contractual disputes, and commercial settlements.
- Document Management: Ensure all documents related to variances, official notices, and receipts of goods at site are duly received, signed, and archived.
- Escalation and Feedback: Facilitate the escalation of commercial/contractual issues and provide feedback into the procurement process with lessons learned sessions and reviews of contractors' performance.
- Market Intelligence and Relationship Management: Take part in marketing intelligence activities following renewable energy market trends in the company's target countries/areas and develop and maintain industry relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Supplier Appraisal and Evaluation: Support and keep records of supplier appraisals, taking responsibility for keeping supplier evaluations up to date.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar procurement role.
- International Teamwork: Capacity to work in an international team.
- Project Management: Good understanding of project management principles.
- Renewable Energy Knowledge: Experience/knowledge about the construction of onshore wind renewable projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non-technical).
- Education/Background: Degree or higher in Commercial, Engineering, or Renewables preferred; Training/Experience in procurement.
