About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's Application Security team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products and services. As a member of this team, you will work closely with our builders to provide secure experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct application security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Design secure architecture and develop threat models to protect against potential threats.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to provide security guidance and training.
  • Develop and maintain security metrics and deliver insights to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with recruiting activities to attract top talent to the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++, or similar object-oriented language.
  • Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS products and services.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
