Job Title: Senior Application Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating application security threats, developing and implementing security solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and mitigate application security threats, including identifying vulnerabilities and developing remediation plans.
  • Develop and implement security solutions, including designing and implementing secure architectures, and integrating security controls into our applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security teams, to ensure the security and integrity of our applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
  • Mentor and train junior team members on security best practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security, with a strong background in threat analysis and mitigation.
  • Knowledge of application security best practices and standards, including OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages, including Python and Java.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
