The Amazon Application Security team focuses on collaborating with our builders to provide experiences that our customers can trust. This means constantly learning new things and solving complex problems to protect the safety, security, and privacy of billions of lives on a global scale.
What You'll Do
- Conduct application security reviews to ensure the highest level of security.
- Design secure architecture and participate in threat modeling.
- Engage in projects and research work as needed to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends.
- Deliver security training and outreach to internal development teams.
- Develop security guidance documentation and metrics to improve security standards.
- Assist with recruiting activities to find top talent in the security field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++, or similar object-oriented language.
- Experience with any combination of the following: threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, and network security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS products and services.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
