Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Market Research Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing data-driven insights to inform strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Analysis
Conduct in-depth industry research, including market size, growth projections, segmentation, and key trends.
Competitor AnalysisAnalyze competitor activity, pricing strategies, product offerings, and market share.
Customer InsightsConduct primary research using various methods, such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.
Secondary ResearchAnalyze secondary research data from market research reports, industry publications, and government databases to identify market trends, competitor insights, and industry dynamics.
Forecasting and ModelingDevelop data-driven forecasts and models to predict future market conditions.
Risk AssessmentIdentify and assess potential risks and opportunities for the company within the industry.
Reporting and PresentationsPrepare insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
Industry MonitoringMonitor industry news, attend conferences, and network with industry professionals to stay informed.
Research InitiativesSupport the development and implementation of market research initiatives.
Stakeholder RelationshipsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their research needs.
Qualifications
- Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
Experience5+ years of experience in market research or a similar role within the industrial sector.
SkillsStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R).
CommunicationExcellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Industry ExpertiseExpertise in researching and tracking industry trends using industry reports, databases, and news sources.
Financial AnalysisUnderstanding of financial analysis and its application to market research.
CollaborationExperience partnering with product managers/brand managers to solve business issues and recommend research methods based on need.
B2B Market ResearchExperience in B2B market research would be a huge plus.
Project ManagementDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Interpersonal SkillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
