About the Role

The Nippon Telegraph And Telephone Corporation (NTT) is seeking a seasoned Data Centre Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for pursuing and landing qualified leads, identifying new opportunities, and presenting Data Centre solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Domain Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Data Centre technology and solutions to support sales efforts.
  2. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to close Data Centre sales deals based on your technical expertise.
  3. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business goals and articulate solutions that meet their needs.
  4. Relationship Building: Establish relationships with multiple client stakeholders and secure deals to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
  5. Opportunity Identification: Identify and act on new sales opportunities within an account and work with the sales teams to drive them to closure.
  6. Lead Pursuit: Pursue and land qualified leads identified by the client managers and other lead generation sources.
  7. Sales Strategy: Execute on the sales strategy and support the wider territory sales plan, defining your own plan for the solution to ensure that sales target is achieved.
  8. Account Planning: Develop and maintain clear account plans for appropriate clients and targets.
  9. Risk Identification: Identify, assess, and highlight client risks that could prove detrimental to the client's organization and credibility.
  10. Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure the scope of work and proposals are tracked and managed.
  11. Sales Methodologies: Use sales methodologies and tools such as opportunity plans, and account plans to drive the sales process.
Requirements
  1. Seasoned Sales Experience: Seasoned demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
  2. Customer Relationships: Seasoned in developing and encouraging meaningful customer relationships up to senior leadership level.
  3. Sales Presentations: Seasoned proficiency in delivering engaging sales presentations.
  4. Team Selling: Seasoned proficiency in team selling approach.
  5. Competitive Knowledge: Seasoned knowledge of competitors and ability to apply competing successful sales strategies.
  6. Sales Strategy: Ability to define sales strategy coupled with seasoned sales solution capabilities.
  7. Client-Centric Approach: Client-centric approach with ability to understand customer problems and find best-fit solutions.
  8. Adaptability: Flexible to adapt quickly to short, new missions or urgent deadlines.
  9. Negotiation Skills: Seasoned negotiation abilities to craft solutions that are beneficial to customers, partners, and organization overall.
  10. Sales Forecasting: Close attention to maintaining up to date, accurate sales forecast and close plans.
  11. Business Acumen: Seasoned business acumen.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology/systems or sales or a related field.
  2. Certifications: SPIN and / or Solution Selling certification(s) preferred.
  3. Relevant Certifications: Relevant technology and vendor certification(s) preferred.
