Marketing Operations Specialist

The Marketing Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in assisting the Marketing Director to uphold exceptional standards in Digital Home Entertainment and Television Distribution marketing, thereby enhancing the performance of the distribution sector.
This position involves close collaboration with the Iberia Commercial team focused on the Digital Home Entertainment domain and engagement with digital retail partners.
This role is designed to cover a temporary absence and is based in our Madrid office, reporting directly to the Marketing Director for TV Distribution & Networks activities for Iberia.
Key Responsibilities:
Feature Film - Title and Product Management
- Oversee marketing budget, campaign execution, and product profitability for feature film launches;
- Support the Feature Film pitching process with essential partners;
- Coordinate with media, digital, and creative agencies throughout marketing campaigns;
- Present franchise and catalog strategies to commercial teams;
- Collaborate with agencies to manage social media initiatives;
- Leverage industry insights to develop innovative marketing strategies;
- Conduct evaluations post-campaign to assess return on investment.
TV Series – Pre-Sales Support
- Assist the Marketing Director in implementing a proactive pre-sales marketing strategy;
- Provide marketing collateral to the Sales Team;
- Support television clients with asset distribution.
Internal & External Relationships
- Act as the primary contact for creative and media agencies;
- Serve as the main marketing liaison for retail partners;
- Foster relationships with marketing counterparts in various regions;
- Build connections with internal Commercial and Sales Planning teams;
- Organize both live and virtual screening events;
- Provide support for public relations agency interactions;
- Collaborate with the main office for product assets and materials.
Planning, Monitoring & Reporting, and Additional Tasks
- Participate in marketing calls and relay information back to the team;
- Generate post-campaign reports for significant title releases;
- Monitor partner stores on a weekly basis;
- Maintain spreadsheets and tracking documents;
- Create purchase orders;
- Assist with translations and proofreading tasks;
- Update release schedules and tracking spreadsheets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing with a minimum of 2 years of marketing experience;
- Experience in the entertainment or media industry is preferred;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively;
- Experience in agency and third-party management;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Business-oriented and commercially savvy;
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
