Senior Planning and Reporting Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Planning and Control team to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely analysis, reporting, and projects deliverables.
  2. Drive continuous improvement of planning processes at the company level, aligned with corporate processes and initiatives.
  3. Manage, motivate, and develop a team of up to 3 direct reports.
  4. Oversee the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, leading end-to-end both processes, including part of the budget managed at the corporate level (e.g., headcount and CAPEX).
  5. Support the Head of Accounting, Planning & Reporting in all financial aspects related to Planning & Reporting.
  6. Provide monthly reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting, including forecasting and variance analysis to the Head of Finance Europe Region.
  7. Oversee cost management initiatives.
  8. Month-end accounting closing coordination.

Key Challenges:

  1. Ensuring data consistency across sources and reconciling differences.
  2. Meeting deadlines.

Important Decisions:

  1. Alerting about deviations and proposing remedy actions.
  2. Prioritizing tasks.

Expected Outputs:

  1. Reports.
  2. Explanations about deviations.
  3. Presentations to the company and senior management.

Required Competences:

  1. Problem-solving: think through and determine the most effective course of action.
  2. Planning skills: ability to install a sensible plan, evaluate the results, and realistically forecast subsequent outcomes.
  3. Team-oriented.
  4. +5 years' experience in Controlling functions.
  5. Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, MBA preferred, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  6. Cost accounting knowledge.
  7. Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines to manage creative capacity.
  8. Fluent in English and Spanish languages (spoken and written).
  9. Ability to meet challenging deadlines and to help deploy changes.
  10. MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
