Job Title: Senior Logistics Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Engineer to join our team at Abylsen. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and oversight of logistics operations within our center, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and improve logistics and supply chain processes, leveraging advanced tools and technologies to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordination and Supervision: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure effective integration of new technologies and optimization of existing processes.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control and stock management, ensuring accuracy and availability of necessary materials.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Develop detailed reports on logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with applicable safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in industrial or high-tech environments.
  • Educational Background: University degree in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience in managing logistics centers and implementing advanced technologies such as automated systems and shipment management robots.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze logistics data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional language skills are a plus.
