Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Manager to lead our HUB operations at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of physical logistics activities, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our supply chain, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Leadership
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics activities.
  • Logistics Operations Management
    • Oversee the execution of physical logistics activities, including warehousing management, transportation, and inventory control.
    • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contract Management
    • Manage logistics provider contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics provider performance and reduce costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including export control, customs, and environmental regulations.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with other managers to align expectations and tasks sharing in the Logistics E2E organization.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on supply chain optimization and leadership.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team development and coaching.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and performance metrics.
    • Knowledge of logistics regulations, including export control, customs, and environmental regulations.
