Eni Deutschland GmbH is seeking a highly skilled HSE Coordinator to join our team in France. As a key member of our HSEQ department, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental, health, and safety aspects of our renewable energy projects are properly managed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental strategies for our projects, in collaboration with regulatory bodies.
- Ensure the effective implementation of monitoring, mitigation, and compensation measures, and coordinate with regulatory bodies as needed.
- Conduct health, safety, and environmental assessments, audits, and inspections, focusing on environmental issues and basic health and safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and provide recommendations to operations and project development services on energy, biodiversity management, waste, water, noise, hazardous substances, and general environmental management.
- In the event of HSE incidents, take immediate corrective actions, investigate, and prepare reports in accordance with best practices and in coordination with the HSE department.
- Implement environmental awareness campaigns to keep employees informed of risks.
- Collaborate with competent functions (all company departments) to collect and analyze environmental data and provide internal and external environmental reports.
- Monitor applicable environmental legislation to quickly identify significant changes.
- Perform environmental monitoring tasks to facilitate the production of renewable energy.
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, or environment.
- Experience in the wind or photovoltaic sector in France, with factual experience in managing environmental aspects of a project.
- Knowledge and experience of international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001, quality auditor training, environmental or PRL training.
- Knowledge of French HSE legislation, with a particular emphasis on environmental requirements.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in OFFICE, MS PROJECT, MS Teams, GIS software.
- Advanced knowledge of English for oral and written communication. Basic knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
- Responsible person, showing initiative, goal-oriented, with leadership skills and communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to manage information from multiple installations and perform site visits if necessary.
- Knowledge of the French language as a native language is required.
- Able to synthesize and prepare reports and presentations.
- Valid B1 driving license and availability for occasional travel in France and abroad.
