Overview
Rockfon stands as a leading provider of stone wool ceiling and wall solutions.
The Product Support Specialist is tasked with delivering technical guidance on products and systems to clients, alongside supporting the sales network.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement market product monitoring plans, coordinating testing activities using ROCKWOOL's in-house resources or external laboratories.
- Ensure technical assistance in specifications, collaborating closely with the sales team.
- Advise clients (distributors, specifiers, installers, etc.) and company sales representatives on the optimal use of Rockfon systems, integrated into construction solutions that meet the technical and economic requirements of clients.
- Provide both internal and external technical training.
- Engage in the development of new products in accordance with the specifications from the Marketing Department, aligned with guidelines from Rockfon factories and approved subcontractors or manufacturing partners.
- Manage the certification acquisition process for products and factories, including CE marking, fire safety, acoustics, and hygiene, in compliance with current regulations in Spain.
- Conduct post-launch follow-ups on new products: overseeing installations, conducting external visits with the sales team, etc.
- Investigate quality disputes assigned to them and propose the most suitable solutions for resolution.
- Contribute expertise to the creation of technical documentation and marketing materials for our products.
- Keep technical documentation up to date: catalogs, standards, and tests, organized for easy access by the department and other users. Maintain and update pricing databases and manage special product pricing.
Qualifications
Minimum EducationTechnical Engineering - Technical Architect - Degree in Engineering
Minimum ExperienceAt least 2 years
Required KnowledgeArchitecture, Acoustics, Technical Assistance, Construction, Technical Documentation, Specifications, Sales Documentation, Product Information and Training
Minimum RequirementsDegree in Engineering, Technical Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Essential knowledge or experience in the field of acoustics and the industry.
We seek an individual with excellent communication skills, initiative, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Willingness to travel.
