**Job Summary**
The Head of Procurement at 1011 Amadeus IT Group S.A. is responsible for guiding and coordinating the Procurement organization, including accountability for target setting and facilitating Procurement value contribution to the company's business while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies, and processes.
This role involves managing strategic relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, as well as guiding the strategies of different Procurement Categories at a global level.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate the development and implementation of the Procurement strategy, contributing to the company's Business Strategy.
- Develop strategic direction for the year, to achieve Procurement objectives aligned with the company's Business Strategy.
- Identify future improvement possibilities and coordinate Category Strategy exercises, ensuring yearly plans are implemented for all sets of Indirect Spend.
- Set organization targets across all categories and oversee major projects impacting the Procurement function.
**Leadership and Management**
- Guide the Procurement Organization by communicating performance expectations clearly and proactively addressing performance-related issues.
- Guide team members in accordance with the company's management principles and ensure the Procurement organization evolves with the company's values and goals.
**Stakeholder Management**
- Manage key stakeholders and business representatives by securing agreement and support for major Procurement initiatives and communicating cost reduction plans and targets.
- Represent Business Units' needs in category strategies and coordinate with the Chief Procurement Officer and Procurement Office to align actions and messages.
**Supplier Management**
- Support strategic sourcing activities and develop partnerships with key strategic suppliers to create additional value for the company.
- Define a global supplier management footprint and governance to ensure a common worldwide approach.
**Procurement Model and Source to Pay**
- Uphold the main principles of the Procurement Model.
- Coordinate activities related to the Source to Pay process, tools, and organization.
- Develop the Procurement tooling ecosystem and ensure alignment with the rest of the Finance functions.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Engineering.
- MBA or equivalent experience is considered a plus.
- Extensive experience guiding multinational/multicultural teams.
- Significant experience managing complex procurement scopes and category management environments, providing wide and deep insights into Indirect Procurement practices.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet deadlines in a dynamic organization.
- Proficiency in English is required, Spanish and/or French is a plus.
