- Comprehend all aspects of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedures and accurately interpret this information to meet our clients' requirements and expectations.
- Input customs declaration details from various documents into the customs entry system to create valid customs declarations.
- Aid in the verification of customs declaration details and their submission to the relevant customs authorities.
- Ensure adherence to regulations at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience in CUSTOMS.
- Strong understanding of the customs brokerage process and systems is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of customs legislation, particularly concerning classification, valuation, and origin.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Proactive with strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in English.
