Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at 2K Games. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of our games and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise allocated projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Lead QA Testers, Lead QA Testers, and QA Testers to ensure effective quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with Functional & Compliance QA, Producers, Developers, and other External Departments to ensure seamless communication and feedback.
  • Liaise with Platform Holders to ensure compliance with guidelines and standards.
  • Jointly sign off on development milestones and manage the submission process.
  • Manage bug reports, bug database, and QA reports to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
  • Manage the department on a day-to-day basis, including performance appraisals and disciplinary issues as needed.
  • Build and maintain successful working relationships with Worldwide Development Studios, QA Department, Local Producers, Platform Holders, Producers, Developers, and Third Party Developers.
  • Participate in the recruiting and interview process to identify top talent.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, internally and externally.
  • Strong management skills, including successfully handling ambiguity, flexibility, and understanding of the development process.
  • Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process.
