DHLLegal Services

We provide solution-oriented legal advice to all our business partners worldwide. Our comprehensive support includes contracts, negotiations, and processes with customers and suppliers, as well as general litigation and commercial law matters.

Job Purpose

Implement legal processes and procedures to identify and mitigate legal risks and protect DHL's legal and business interests in line with business needs, established legal framework, standards, applicable laws, and regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Implement legal processes and procedures to identify and mitigate legal risks and protect DHL's legal and business interests in line with business needs, established legal framework, standards, applicable laws, and regulations.
  • Deploy best practices to ensure current or proposed business activities, policies, practices, and transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Analyze extensively legal analyses and technical reports to recommend how to respond to legal issues or proposed changes in laws and regulations.
  • Analyze extensively legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example loans, leases, purchase agreements, acquisitions, divestitures, employment contracts) to protect the organization's legal and business interests.
  • Act as liaison for the organization in complex, controversial, significant, or specialized legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities to protect the organization's interests.
  • Review complex materials for external legal counsel so that they are well-prepared to represent the organization in legal proceedings.
  • Schedule, prioritize and manage work associated with Legal Counsel, Patent/Intellectual Property Law, Legal Research & Document Drafting, Contract Negotiation & Administration, and Legal Records Management.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced legal professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • 6+ years of legal experience within a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel in a commercial company.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to apply legal knowledge and expertise in a business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and stress management skills.
  • Customer-oriented with an understanding of client needs.
