Scopely is seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager to join our Marketing Team.
We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving growth, engagement, and retention through impactful community efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and other channels.
- Content Management: Plan and execute social media promotions and campaigns designed to drive user growth, enhance engagement, and improve player retention rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product leads, creative services and customer support, to ensure cohesive and effective social media initiatives on a global scale.
- Presentation and Reporting on Social Analytics: Present social media plans, progress, and performance metrics to stakeholders weekly, demonstrating strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
- Monitor Social Media Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices, particularly as they relate to the gaming and social casino sectors.
- Community Management: Engage with the player community, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive and interactive environment on our social media channels, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Player Council: Establish and lead a new Player Council which includes meeting with players (e.g., monthly calls) to collect valuable player insights and share them with the product teams to drive game enhancements and game improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in social media marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in developing gaming communities, driving engagement, retention & growth.
- Strong project management/organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of social media campaigns as it relates to the product roadmap.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, other), influencer marketing and building other online communities.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, perfect English written and spoken.
- Gaming experience is a must, Social Casino gaming experience a plus.
