About the Role

We are seeking an experienced eCOA Application Specialist to join our team at ICON. As a key member of the eCOA Solutions team, you will be responsible for approving the design of eCOA Systems and creating testing plans and scripts to ensure system adequacy prior to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and highlight potential risks to delivery timelines
  • Review and approve eCOA Vendor design documentation to ensure alignment with the protocol
  • Create Test Plan documents and reports
  • Write series of UAT scripts to ensure eCOA Vendor platforms are adequately tested prior to go live
  • Execute test scripts as required
  • Support the Project Manager, COA by providing accurate estimates of delivery time and factors that impact delivery time associated with their defined tasks
  • Attend meetings with internal teams and Sponsors and represent the eCOA Solutions team as an expert on system design and testing
  • Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values, which center on our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance

  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in IRT/eCOA or a related field
  • Significant experience in eCOA, research technology, Outcomes Research, or eClinical/Clinical field or related services/industry
  • Comfortable managing a variety of tasks at one time
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Analytic, problem-solving skills
  • Focus on continuous improvement
