- Security Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and assessments of our projects to ensure they meet our security standards.
- Secure Software Development: Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on secure software development practices, including secure coding strategies, security frameworks, and threat modeling.
- Emerging Security Threats: Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, industry trends, and cutting-edge technologies, and translate this knowledge into practical recommendations.
- Research and Development: Research new technologies and languages as required to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Internal Engagement: Engage and collaborate with internal development teams to ensure security is integrated into the development process.
- Security Guidance Documentation: Develop and maintain application security guidance documentation to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Security Tool Automation: Develop and implement security tool automation to streamline security processes.
- Security Metrics: Develop and maintain security metrics to measure and improve security posture.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a technical discipline, including cloud security, network security, application security, mobile security, secure development methodologies, software development and coding, identity management, authentication and authorization, network architecture, system administration, and systems engineering.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP Top Ten, CWE/SANS Top 25, and common application vulnerabilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
