Overview

We are a prominent organization in the field of Instrumentation for Science and Technology. Our Technical Service Specialists and Field Service Engineers play a crucial role in maintaining our leadership position in the market by delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Position Summary

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be tasked with providing on-site service support within your designated region. You will serve as the primary liaison with manufacturer specialists for any technical inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of instruments at client locations, including both electrical and mechanical assessments, in line with service agreements.
  • Deliver operational training to clients following installations.
  • Identify system malfunctions and apply the most effective solutions.
  • For complex service interventions, collaborate with specialists to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Update clients on new product offerings and assist in the development of service contracts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Adaptable, organized, and a strong team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Professional certification or a bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific fields (such as electronics, mechanical engineering, physics, or biomedical engineering).
  • Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, and/or information technology.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a service role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Spain (30% of the time).

Travel Expectations:

  • Willingness to travel across Spain and Portugal (20% - 40% of the time).
