Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and support to our laboratory customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair our instrumentation product portfolio, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Provide expert technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, to resolve system failures and optimize instrument performance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to end-users on our range of instrumentation, ensuring they have the necessary skills to operate and maintain our equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Marketing, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, support literature, and training materials to enhance customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and company policies to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in servicing/repair of analytical equipment, preferably laboratory/hospital equipment or medical devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex system failures and develop effective solutions.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel, primarily within the Center Spain Region.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including Office and Outlook.
