Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operational management of the workforce management system, ensuring accurate labor requirement forecasting, scheduling, and real-time adjustments in alignment with market-specific dynamics.
- Work with operations teams on new store openings, acquisitions, and store closures, ensuring seamless integration and optimal resource allocation.
- Efficiently manage change requests related to the workforce management system, evaluating feasibility, impact, and implementation strategies in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on guidance and training to super users on the optimal usage of workforce management tools, systems, and best practices, ensuring consistent and optimized adoption.
- Engage with global workforce management community to gather insights and best practices.
- Work with finance and sales teams to establish a monthly budget that is fair and equitable for the stores.
- Analyze market-specific workforce performance, attendance, and productivity data to identify operational trends, patterns, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to employment law, regulations, and company policies pertinent to workforce management, time and attendance, and employee scheduling within the diverse markets under purview.
- Proven experience in workforce management, preferably within the retail industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across different cultural backgrounds.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in workforce management software and scheduling tools, with experience with Ceridian Workforce considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a global context.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations across Spain and Portugal, particularly as they pertain to workforce management.
- Retail experience and an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the industry.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
