Business Development Manager, Cybersecurity
Job Overview:
Arrow Electronics, Inc. is a leading global technology enablement firm. We specialize in providing value-added distribution, business consulting, and channel enablement services to top technology manufacturers and their partners serving both commercial and governmental sectors.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance Arrow ECS Spain's business by driving and expanding strategic initiatives and relationships with designated Cybersecurity vendors. This role will ensure alignment with business objectives, executive sponsorship, and the growth of the vendor's presence within Arrow.
You will be responsible for managing the strategy of HPE Aruba Networking within your designated territory in the Spanish market.
Key Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will typically engage in:
- Establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with vendors (Distribution and Channel Managers) and facilitating executive interactions,
- Taking ownership of the development and execution of strategic sales plans and investment initiatives,
- Coordinating the forecasting and pipeline processes for your assigned vendor,
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to achieve financial and business objectives,
- Identifying new business opportunities, including emerging markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the IT Security business development landscape,
- Strong background in the Cybersecurity channel with knowledge of key industry players,
- Ability to cultivate and develop strategic business relationships,
- Experience in delivering product demonstrations and commercial presentations that highlight added value,
- Solid understanding of the market and the value proposition that a distributor brings to the channel,
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels,
- Fluency in English and native proficiency in Spanish.
