Customer Operations Specialist

Suntransfers is seeking a highly skilled Customer Operations Specialist to join our team in Torroella de Montgrñí, Costa Brava, Girona. As a key member of our customer operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring our customers receive an amazing service at every turn of their journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with customers and transportation partners across the globe, handling queries and providing solutions through phone calls, live chats, and emails.
- Act as the problem-solving guru during travel assistance calls, making fast decisions to turn challenges into triumphs.
- Assist customers with comprehensive information about Suntransfers, including availability, pricing, and general information.
- Complete payments and bookings, ensuring a smooth process for customers.
- Provide support for both customers and suppliers, acting as a mediator when issues arise during a transfer service.
- Tackle complaints head-on and turn frowns into smiles.
- Participate in cool cross-functional projects, such as translations, price comparisons, and publishing new routes and prices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Top-notch computer and internet skills, with previous experience in handling complaints.
- Prior experience in the tourism industry is a plus, as is competence in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional team player with a proactive and positive attitude, thriving in high-pressure situations.
- Pleasant and professional telephone demeanor, with strong communication skills and listening abilities.
- Ability to multitask, fast decision-making, and problem-solving, with attention to detail and a well-organized approach.
- Dynamic and challenging environment with a young, multicultural, multilingual team.
- Flexible work routine, with some days spent in the office and others working remotely.
- 40-hour workweek, distributed across 5 days (Monday to Sunday), with a rotation of morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
