About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Associate to join our team at the CyberPeace Institute. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in supporting our strategic fundraising efforts and contributing to the effective management of our team and organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with current donors, ensuring timely and effective communication and stewardship.

Fundraising Research and Strategy

Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources and develop strategic plans to secure support for our initiatives.

Proposal Development and Writing

Collaborate with our team to develop compelling proposals, grant applications, and other fundraising materials that effectively convey our mission and impact.

Stewardship and Reporting

Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors, including regular updates on the impact of their support.

Internal and External Communications

Support the development of internal and external communications, including fundraising appeals, newsletters, and social media content.

Donor Database Management

Manage and maintain our donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all prospective and current donors.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Relevant studies in business management, administration, economics, international relations, international development, or a related field.

Language Skills

Fluency in English and French, spoken and written.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in donor database management and fundraising software.

Additional Requirements

Demonstrated commitment to working in the nonprofit sector, with a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices.
