We are seeking an experienced International Social Performance Consultant to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Energy Environment and Social team, you will play a crucial role in delivering environmental services for energy projects globally.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct social and human rights impact assessments and develop management plans to mitigate potential risks.
- Perform social due diligence, Equator Principle compliance reviews, and construction monitoring to ensure projects meet international standards.
- Develop resettlement and indigenous peoples' development plans to minimize the social impact of projects.
- Design public consultation and disclosure plans, as well as stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure transparency and community involvement.
- Develop labour rights management plans and conduct audits to ensure compliance with international labour standards.
- Conduct gender analysis and develop management plans to promote gender equality and address potential disparities.
- Travel internationally to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in English and French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a strong understanding of international social and environmental standards, as well as experience in conducting social impact assessments and developing management plans.
