Director of Sales Job Description

At 7Pines Resort Ibiza, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales, G&E, and reservations to ensure maximum revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize REVPAR and grow market share.
  • Work closely with the Global Team (Sales & Revenue) to achieve revenue goals.
  • Maintain and promote a team work environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
  • Ensure best client service is being made available through communication amongst the team and other departments.
  • Work with Cluster Sales team to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.
  • Set example through professional, friendly attitude towards clients and co-workers.
  • Ensure hotel meets or exceeds budgeted goals.
  • Follow and track company cross-sell procedures.
  • Utilize and expend company profile database to determine geographic areas for travel/MICE agent calls.
  • Organize travel/MICE agent month and industry rates for slow months.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
  • Creating a focus on attracting new business.
  • Attending and contributing to the weekly RevMax meeting.
  • Updating and owning the sales strategy & sales plan with General Manager and Global Team (Sales and Revenue).
  • Updating and owning the month end report ("GM Monthly report").
  • Review and approves any special negotiated rates by signing the contract (WHS, G&E, Consortia, TMCs).
Requirements:
  • High degree of commercial awareness and excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Good business sense and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally to represent the hotels of the company.
  • Customer care, organized, meticulous, cohesiveness, carrying, adjustable, open-minded, committed and creative.
  • Elegant grooming standards applicable to a lifestyle luxury hotel brand.
  • Fluent in English, good level of Spanish, any other language will be considered a plus.
  • 5 to 6 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • And min three years experience in a senior sales role.
  • 3-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or MBA.
  • Driving license, EU Citizenship.
