Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Research Project Manager to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the full lifecycle of research projects within our Project Management Office (PMO). Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities for research groups, ensuring timely proposal submission and effective project planning.
  • Coordinate project resources, monitor progress, and maintain excellent communication with Principal Investigators and funding agencies.
  • Develop and manage project proposals, ensuring high-quality submissions and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with researchers and group leaders to improve project operations and achieve research goals.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring the interests of the BSC and its researchers are protected.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • At least five years of experience in research project management, with a focus on European Commission and Spanish Plan Estatal funding.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation applications.
