About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Technician - Welding Specialist to join our cross-functional team supporting the Space, Defense, and Transport divisions at GMV. As a key member of our hardware division, you will provide support to our engineering teams in our facilities and at customer sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble printed circuit boards with traditional and SMD components.
  • Perform soldering tasks on prototype boards for equipment under development and testing.
  • Solder wires on connectors and terminals, and replace components in repairs.
  • Handle binoculars and other equipment.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in prototyping, installation, assembly, and maintenance tasks on a minor basis.

Requirements:

  • Training in electronics and a strong interest in continuing professional development in this field.
  • Previous experience in basic electrical and equipment installations, soldering of TH and SMD electronic components, wiring, assembly, and wiring of electronic equipment and mechanical parts, HW testing, and repairs.
