Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Microsoft Games. As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation group, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve issues with minimal customer and business disruption.
  • Set up and deploy hardware according to safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes following standard procedures.
  • Communicate and report incidents to appropriate teams and escalate as necessary.
  • Assist and provide guidance to other technicians to complete challenging tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with required training and observe more experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
  • Proven experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
