Role Overview
As a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, you will be instrumental in optimizing production, distribution, and inventory management processes, contributing to our mission of effective supply chain operations. You will address customer supply inquiries and proactively identify potential challenges that may hinder units from meeting their operational goals. Key Responsibilities
Oversee supply planning and financial control activities. Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant reference materials such as supply regulations, manuals, and records to resolve complex supply issues. Monitor supply and equipment needs utilizing research tools and methodologies. Manage Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) for backorder situations. Analyze supply metrics to enhance operational performance. Advise customers on the requisitioning and delivery processes. Effectively manage inventory timelines and investigate discrepancies through thorough research. Execute Base Supply responsibilities as needed to support operational tasks and ensure adherence to directives. Engage in the formulation and implementation of logistics strategies impacting production, distribution, and inventory. Conduct distribution and network assessments to pinpoint areas for enhancement. Coordinate logistics efforts with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations. Provide regular updates and status reports to management to aid in decision-making.Essential Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship. Associate degree required. Over 8 years of supervisory experience in logistics, preferably within the USAF or commercial sectors. Expertise in Air Force material management protocols, including requisitioning, equipment oversight, repair cycles, and MICAP programs. Experience in warehouse management and supply record maintenance. Capability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access. Ability to secure and retain a Common Access Card.Preferred Qualifications
Air Force Specialty Code, 2S071-Supply Management Craftsman. Familiarity with supply regulations such as AFH 23-123, AFI 23-101, and AFMAN 23-122. Working knowledge of ILS-S, LIMS-EV, DPAS, FEDLOG, BLADE.KBR Benefits
