Job Summary
KBR is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for streamlining production, distribution, and inventory processes to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise supply planning and funds control activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of supplies.
- Develop and implement logistics plans to optimize production, distribution, and inventory processes.
- Track supplies and equipment requirements using research tools and processes to minimize backorders and optimize inventory levels.
- Manage Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) for backorder conditions and conduct analyses on supply metrics to optimize performance.
- Provide guidance to customers on requisitioning and parts delivery process to ensure smooth operations.
- Efficiently manage inventory schedules and address discrepancies through causative research to ensure compliance with directives.
- Participate in the development and execution of logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct distribution and network studies to identify areas for improvement and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide regular activity and status reports to management to facilitate decision-making processes.
Requirements
- US Citizen.
- Associate degree required.
- 8+ years of supervisory experience in USAF logistics or commercial logistics.
- Proficiency in Air Force materiel management procedures, including requisitioning, equipment management, repair cycle, and MICAP programs.
- Experience in warehouse control and supply record maintenance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
