About the Role
The purpose of this position is to oversee a team of architecture project managers in North Europe, responsible for implementing store projects in alignment with global concepts, guidelines, and processes. This role also involves supporting the global facilities management team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and guide a team of international project managers to ensure they have the necessary capabilities to deliver high-performance operational tasks, while supporting them in developing a strategic mindset.
- Supervise the implementation of point-of-purchase (POP) displays and support project managers on all aspects of POP construction, including approval, negotiation, and performance.
- Manage the regional architecture budget for projects, including capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Guide and supervise external consultants and local architects in accordance with central strategies.
- Ensure the delivery of quality projects within committed timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with retail architecture operations and distribution & real estate teams.
- Take on a leadership role in important store projects, such as flagship stores, from site survey to handover to sales departments.
- Identify opportunities for process, software, or team improvements and propose innovative solutions.
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an international setting.
- Excellent English proficiency, presentation, and communication skills; proficiency in Spanish, French, and German is highly valued.
- Experience in retail project management, store development, or facilities management.
- Influencing skills to align with stakeholders throughout project phases.
- Willingness to travel regularly, up to 40% of the time.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Innovative and creative approach, with a can-do attitude.
