Senior Business Analyst (System Governance and Data)

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a knowledgeable System Governance Data Analyst to improve the quality, management, and protection of sensitive system data. Responsibilities include developing and implementing system data standards, policies, and procedures, conducting system data quality audits, managing data assets and licenses, and responding to system data-related questions and concerns.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement system data standards, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure system data integrity, compliance, and availability.
  • Conduct system data quality audits and lead initiatives to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and system data owners to implement and enforce data governance framework.
  • Assist in system data management, governance, and system data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners.
  • Ensure the internal and external (SOX) audit controls documentation is provided and stored in the governance sites.
  • Respond to system data-related questions and interpret policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and privacy.
  • Manage and maintain enterprise data assets.
  • Train and educate application leaders and Flowserve IT Teams on system data management and governance procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a (System) Data Governance Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience level: Senior (7+ years in similar role)
  • Proficient in English and Spanish languages.
  • Experience in data analysis and management reporting.
  • Proficiency in data governance tools.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of system data governance practices and data protection management practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • SAP (or other ERP) working knowledge.
