Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to join our team at Flowserve Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, management, and protection of sensitive system data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement system data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure system data integrity, compliance, and availability.
- Conduct system data quality audits and lead initiatives to improve data quality.
- Collaborate with IT teams and system data owners to implement and enforce data governance framework.
- Assist in system data management, governance, and system data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners.
- Ensure the internal and external audit controls documentation is provided and stored in the governance sites.
- Respond to system data-related questions and interpret policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and privacy.
- Manage and maintain enterprise data assets.
- Train and educate application leaders and Flowserve IT Teams on system data management and governance procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a (System) Data Governance Analyst or similar role.
- Experience level: Senior (7+ years in similar role).
- Proficient in English and Spanish languages.
- Experience in data analysis and management reporting.
- Proficiency in data governance tools.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Able to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of system data governance practices and data protection management practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SAP (or other ERP) working knowledge would be a big plus.
