- Deliver HR Services: Provide high-quality HR services to employees, including talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture, and engagement initiatives.
- Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the EMEA region.
- Design and Deliver HR Projects: Design and deliver business-critical HR-related projects globally, including policy development and implementation.
- Present at Company Events: Articulate Canonical's HR practices and strategies to internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional HR Experience: Proven track record of leading HR initiatives across regions within a technology business.
- People Management Experience: Experience in managing HR teams and developing HR strategies.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in a remote-first organization and ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
- Language Skills: Fluent in business English (written and spoken).
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, organized, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, open-minded, enthusiastic, and energetic.
