Head of Production

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Production team at Airbus Helicopters España, Sa. As the Head of Production, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of helicopters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the entire assembly, testing, and flight process, ensuring compliance with industry and quality standards, health & safety protocols, and project specifications.
- Manage a growing team of skilled foremen, assembly, and test technicians to achieve optimal efficiency and high-quality output.
- Ensure the team is trained to the latest requirements, ready for the ramp up and upcoming new programmes, with development plans and recognition provided.
- Drive schedule, cost, quality, and safety adherence through effective planning, monitoring, and execution of assembly and test processes.
- Implement AOS and lean initiatives to optimize processes at the shopfloor and enhance productivity.
- Ensure that safety procedures and practices outlined in company manuals and industry standards are adhered to by all production staff at all times.
- Profound experience in the Airbus Operations domain, in Lean / AOS deployment, in H&S requirements.
- Technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage a growing team and ensure optimal efficiency and high-quality output.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
