Position Overview
The Human Resources Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering guidance and assistance to Large Business Teams, including Directors, Managers, and Employees, by providing timely and precise information regarding HR policies and procedures.
This role is also responsible for facilitating support and training for annual HR initiatives and ensuring that the shared service support delivery model aligns with the needs of clients.
Engage directly with the business to deliver HR Specialist support services, ensuring exceptional customer service through prompt and dependable service.
Collaborate with local, regional, and global HR Specialists to provide necessary services in accordance with the strategy and requirements of each team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive support to large teams across various functions.
- Coordinate and assist HR Business Partners across different geographies or functions.
- Advise and mentor Directors and Managers on talent management and career development to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
- Lead the Talent Process for Bands 1 and 2 while supporting Band 3.
- Influence management to ensure adherence to existing policies and effective people management practices.
- Partner with the business to create and implement people and organizational solutions that positively impact culture and performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employees regarding HR matters.
- Oversee and manage job changes.
- Supervise and coordinate temporary contracts.
- Manage the off-boarding process.
- Collaborate with the Employee Relations Manager on employee relations issues.
- Provide assistance to regional Recruitment as needed, including conducting additional interviews and advising managers.
- Develop expertise in Labor Relations, Payroll, Talent & Development, and Recruitment, enabling effective discussions with Centers of Excellence.
- Support and train on annual HR processes, including Performance Optimization, Annual Salary Review, Talent Reviews, and Pulse Surveys.
- Lead or participate in local HR projects and engage in international HR initiatives to foster collaboration.
- Oversee the rollout and administration of HR programs, including roadshows and training sessions.
- Conduct new manager assimilation sessions.
- Represent HR during field compliance audits.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Develop job aids and process flows for all field support services.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related technical discipline.
Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in business or a related field, along with experience and knowledge in employee relations and wellbeing.
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
Proven experience in administering and explaining HR policies and procedures.
Experience in customer support and training for end users.
Familiarity with HR systems, preferably Workday.
Desirable: Experience in multinational corporations.
Skills & Knowledge:
Demonstrated ability to interact with employees and management at all levels while providing excellent customer service.

Ability to lead and coach effectively.

Languages:
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Preferred Education: Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
Preferred Level of Work Experience: 3 - 5 years.
