Position Overview

The Human Resources Specialist serves as a key resource for Large Business Teams, including Directors, Managers, and Employees, by delivering timely and precise information regarding HR policies and procedures.

This role also involves providing support and training for annual HR initiatives and ensuring that the shared service delivery model aligns with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer comprehensive support to large teams across various functions.
  • Coordinate and assist HR Business Partners across different geographies or functions.
  • Guide and mentor Directors and Managers on talent management and career development to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
  • Lead the Talent Process for Bands 1 and 2, while supporting Band 3.
  • Encourage compliance with existing policies and effective people management to mitigate potential legal issues.
  • Collaborate with the business to devise and implement people and organizational strategies that positively influence culture and performance.
  • Act as the primary contact for all employee inquiries related to HR.
  • Oversee and manage job changes and temporary contracts.
  • Facilitate the off-boarding process.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations Manager on employee relations matters.
  • Assist regional Recruitment efforts as needed, including conducting interviews and advising managers.
  • Develop expertise in Labor Relations, Payroll, Talent Development, and Recruitment to effectively engage with Centers of Excellence.
  • Provide training and support for annual HR processes, including Performance Optimization, Salary Reviews, Talent Reviews, and Pulse Surveys.
  • Participate in local HR projects and contribute to international HR initiatives aimed at breaking down silos.
  • Manage the rollout and administration of HR programs, including roadshows and training sessions.
  • Conduct new manager assimilation sessions.
  • Represent HR during field compliance audits.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Create job aids and process flows for all field support services.

Qualifications:

Essential: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Preferred: Postgraduate qualifications in business or a related discipline, along with experience in employee relations and labor relations.

Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, with proven expertise in administering HR policies and procedures, providing customer support, and training.

Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Workday, is advantageous.

Skills & Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with employees and management at all levels, delivering exceptional customer service.

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Ability to lead and coach others, coupled with a high standard of work quality.

Excellent relationship-building skills with the capacity to influence diverse groups.

Reliable, adaptable, and resilient, with a structured and disciplined approach to work.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Preferred Education:

Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

Preferred Level of Work Experience:

3 - 5 years.
