Position Overview

The Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting Large Business Teams, including Directors, Managers, and Employees, by delivering timely and precise information regarding HR policies and procedures.

This role also encompasses the provision of support and training for annual HR initiatives, ensuring that the shared service delivery model aligns with the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive support to large teams across various functions.
  • Coordinate and assist HR Business Partners in different geographies or functions.
  • Advise and mentor Directors and Managers on talent management and career development to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
  • Lead the Talent Process for Bands 1 and 2 while supporting Band 3.
  • Encourage compliance with existing policies and effective people management to mitigate potential legal issues.
  • Collaborate with the business to create and implement people-oriented solutions that positively impact organizational culture and performance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all employee inquiries related to HR.
  • Oversee and process job changes and temporary contracts.
  • Manage the off-boarding process.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations Manager on employee relations matters.
  • Assist regional Recruitment efforts as needed, including conducting interviews and providing guidance to managers.
  • Develop expertise in Labor Relations, Payroll, Talent Development, and Recruitment, enabling effective conversations with Centers of Excellence.
  • Facilitate training on annual HR processes, including Performance Optimization, Salary Reviews, Talent Reviews, and Pulse Surveys.
  • Participate in local HR projects and international initiatives aimed at breaking down silos and promoting collaboration.
  • Oversee the rollout and administration of HR programs, including training sessions and live meetings.
  • Conduct new manager assimilation sessions.
  • Represent HR during field compliance audits.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Create job aids and process flows for all field support services.

Qualifications:

Essential: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Preferred: Postgraduate qualifications in business or a related discipline, along with experience in employee relations and labor relations.

Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, with proven expertise in administering and explaining HR policies and procedures.

Experience in customer support and training, as well as familiarity with HR systems, preferably Workday.

Desirable: Experience in multinational organizations.

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with employees and management at all levels, providing exceptional customer service.

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and coach others.

High standards of work quality with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent relationship-building skills with the capacity to influence diverse groups.

Reliable, flexible, and resilient, with a structured and disciplined approach to work.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
